Baron is an accomplished speaker, writer, and facilitator and is active in the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) community. He is considered a national expert on education privacy laws such as the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Baron holds the IAPP’s GDPR certification, CIPP/E, a Project Management Professional (PMP) and an MBA from George Fox University.
Baron’s passion is to help organizations create cultures of data privacy and navigate the plethora of privacy laws through practical, pragmatic methodologies.
Tiina Rodrigue is a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert in the Higher Education policy, program, and recovery space. Previously, she served as the Senior Advisor-Cybersecurity, for FSA at Education (ED) for institutions of higher education (IHEs).
Ms. Rodrigue’s was Program Director, Professional Services at CipherCloud, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for USCIS within DHS; promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO), later performing a similar role at TSA. Tiina served at Cisco and consulting firms for Census, Treasury, ED, the Pentagon, FAA, and Fortune 500.
Tiina is a published academic author, and a keynote speaker, instructor, and workshop facilitator/guide.
Ms. Rodrigue holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin, an MS with honors from the University of Virginia and is an honors candidate in The George Washington University's Executive Cyber Corps Doctoral program. Ms. Rodrigue is a wife and mother of six, on her farm of goats, chickens, and bees.
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) – Our CISA has extensive information governance and system development leadership experience. He holds an MBA in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and specializes in minimizing risk through process management, technical controls, and compliance auditing. He has detailed understanding of software development lifecycles and has led large teams in a variety of settings. His most recent engagements include oversight of an internationally used “big data” tool used in over 140 countries and ensuring compliance with large data systems containing sensitive personally identifiable data on millions of individuals used for research and policy purposes.
Our executive-level CISSP has extensive leadership engagements from startups to prominent cabinet level strategic cyber security positions. His sectoral experience includes Department of Defense, financial industry and Fortune 100 companies providing strategy and vision for their information security programs. He has significant experience with digital risk management and holds a PhD from George Washington University. Our CISSP specializes in incident response, program startup and operations and governance/compliance activities.
